The project concerns the total renovation of the hotel unit, with a total area of 570 square meters, which was carried out during the period 2018-2019. The study focused on the complete renovation of both the interior and the exterior, aiming to create a modern and functional urban hotel within the city of Heraklion.

The renovation included both the interior layout of the rooms and the public areas. Each part of the hotel was redesigned based on the principles of functionality and harmony, while maintaining a modern and timeless character. The reception areas and lobby have been completely renovated, with clean lines, the use of natural materials such as wood and marble, and lighting that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere.The colour tones are calm and earthy, offering a sense of relaxation. The rooms have been completely renovated, with modern furniture, ergonomic solutions and large openings that allow natural light to enter, offering a pleasant and functional living space.

On the outside, the building was upgraded with the use of modern materials that harmonize with the urban architecture of Heraklion. The facades of the building were clad with materials such as natural stone and modern colours, which add freshness and contemporary aesthetics. At the same time, outdoor spaces, such as balconies and living areas, were transformed with new outdoor furniture and practical shading solutions, enhancing the guest experience.

Particular attention was also paid to the hotel’s surroundings, with the redesign of the external corridors and the upgrading of the entrances to ensure comfortable access for guests. This renovation has transformed the hotel into a modern and welcoming destination in the heart of Heraklion, offering a complete accommodation experience that meets the modern needs of travellers.
